About

What is a TCG?

Online Trading Card Games are similar to the trading cards you knew as a child. Rather than playing in person and collecting cards from packs at the store, you collect everything online. The goal is to collect all of the cards you like, also know as mastering a deck. Online TCGs are free to play, a lot of fun, and very addictive! Interested in joining? Check out the rest of this section before moving on to the join form!

Trade Post

Before you join, you need a place to store your stuff, also know as a trade post. To make life easier for you and for your fellow TCG members, you should separate your cards, at least into groups of keeping and trading. You are also required to keep a detailed card log, showing how you got every card. The final thing you need on your site is a way to contact you, either a form or an email link, so you can trade.

Cards

There are three types of cards at Music Station.
The regular music video decks are 25 cards a deck and are worth 1 card.

Special decks are 15 cards per deck and are worth 1 card. As of this time, special decks are alternative music videos and artist decks. What is consider as alternative music videos will be MVs such as dance/performance MVs and close-up MVs.

For Hello! Project's "Another Version" MVs, they can be either a regular music video deck or a special music video deck depending how different the another version is from the original music video or how unique/interesting the another version is.

Artist decks are decks featuring soloists, group members, or musicians. An artist can have a deck for every group/project they have taken part in. In the future, Music Station might allow an artist to have multiple decks per project/group.
  • Eg. Miyawaki Sakura can have an artist deck for her time in HKT48/48g, IZ*ONE, and LE SSERAFIM. However, her LE SSERAFIM deck must only contain LE SSERAFIM era pictures and not any HKT48 era or IZ*ONE era pictures.

Below are samples of what deck categories we currently have.
